Echo is available to a show or Jr handler home.
Echo is the puppy we kept out of the
Star + Henry breeding. She
is very feisty, like her dam and shows tons of personality.
Echo participated in her first show over Mother's Day Weekend,
May, 2008. She earned Two Best of Breed Novice Puppy and went on to win
one Best Novice Puppy of Show. It was great fun to get her out, socialize
her, and practice what the "big show dogs" do. She continued to
do well at her next show May 31st and June 1st in Enumclaw, WA sponsored by
AEDAW. She won best female puppy twice and one Best Novice Puppy of show.
She's showing wonderful movement, great substance with lots of sass and
expression.
Echo's first AKC show was in Sequim, WA at the Hurricane Ridge
Kennel Club show in late July, 2008. For just having turned 6 months the
week prior, I couldn't have been more pleased with her performance. After
practicing on Saturday, she came back on Sunday and won Reserve Winner's Bitch
on a 4pt major, only losing to her best buddy, Maya. It was a wonderful
Sunday morning with our two young ladies taking Winner's and Reserve Winner's.
Echo is turning out to be a lovely young puppy and we are looking forward to
many more exciting moments with this pretty girl. We'll have her winning
picture up soon.
Echo's first UKC show was in Madras, OR at the Volcano View All
Breed Dog Show in August, 2008. Amongst very tough competition Echo did
well, earning her UKC Champion Title at the tender age of 7 months her first
weekend out. Just before turning 8 months old she went into the Champion
ring for the first time and pleasantly surprised me by winning her first
Champion leg in at the AEDAO show in St. Helens, OR. I was absolutely
shocked as competition was tough with 12 beautiful dogs in the class. We'll have pictures up soon.
After taking a break to grow-up a little, Echo came out like
gangbusters in the spring of 2009 earning a UKC Champion win and 5 reserves in 2
weekends or 7 shows. She then went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at
the Elma AKC show on Saturday and Winners bitch on Sunday. She is showing
lovely ring presence and fabulous movement. Every day she becomes more
beautiful with her dam's sweet face and jet black points and her sire's
exceptional bone and dynamite movement. We look forward to watching her
mature and gain continued success in the ring.
Echo earned her Grand Champion title by earning back to back
Champion legs at the VVRTC show in Madras, OR in August of 2009. We are
very proud of her accomplishment!
We will have more pictures of Echo up very soon.
