We decided on a second addition so quickly because we really
felt Star needed a playmate. We would go to shows,
and she would see all the other Eskie families with multiple members, and be
almost depressed when it was time to go home and leave her friends. Siku
filled a void in her life that only a second dog could. People
started giving us a bad time because we got another puppy so soon, but it
was perfect timing. He fit into our “pack” without a hitch.
Siku came to us from Mary Ellen
Eichelberger and
AWD American Eskimos in Salem, OR. Siku
has matured into a handsome boy. He has beautiful movement and is a
sweet mellow boy.
Siku’s first groups of shows were in
Longview, WA as a Novice Puppy. He surprised me by winning Best in Breed
for Novice Puppy. I was so proud of him. Siku became a UKC Champion at
7 & 1/2 months old. He won Best of Winners in three consecutive shows under
3 different judges earning his 3 majors and 105 points giving him his
Champion Title. I was thrilled that he did so well, so early in his show
career. Thank you to judges Judy Jones, Roger Bennett, and Jim Jones for
recognizing his beauty.
Siku became a UKC Grand Champion on his 14th month
birthday. This was an incredible day for us since it was a year to the
day that Siku became our puppy and the show was hosted by
AEDAW.
Thank you to judges Sandra Drake, Joseph Allen, Dennis Morgan, Judy
Jones, and Andrew (Gene) Mills. Working towards his Grand Champion Title has been very exciting for
us as Siku is our very first Grand Champion.
In February 2007, Siku became an
International Champion and also placed Group Two in the Non-Sporting Group.
The judge remarked at what an impressive package that Tristan and Siku made. Tristan is proving he has a very special
way handling his dogs.
Siku became an AKC Champion in April, 2007! He's done very well for us
in the ring and we couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments! I'm
excited to start working towards his obedience titles now that he has
finished his conformation titles and let him mature and grow. He's
never been too thrilled with the show ring, so I'm certain he'll be very
happy. In early 2009, Siku started back up in his obedience training and
will make his Rally debut in the spring.
I’m sure Siku will
continue to make us proud as he matures. He’s turning out to be the show
dog of our dreams! Click here to see more pictures of
Siku.

Pedigree. We are very excited about Siku’s show
and obedience in the future. Check back often for Siku’s
development and progress in the rings.
